The competition will take place in Pesaro at the Council Chamber of the Province of Pesaro and Urbino " Adele Bei " located in Viale Gramsci , and at the Hall of the Republic of Teatro Rossini , 7 to 12 May 2016. The award ceremony and the winners concert will place on 12 May at 17.30 at the Hall of the Palazzo Ducale.
The competition is open to musicians of both sexes of any nationality and is divided into 4 sections . The overall winner of the competition will be selected among the winners of the individual categories or sections during the Concert for Winners.
1ª Section: Piano Solo Category A: UNDER 10 anni Category B: UNDER 14 anni Category C: UNDER 18 anni Category D: UNDER 25 anni
2ª Section: Sing Category A: UNDER 23 anni Category B: UNDER 35 anni
3ª Section: Brass Category A: UNDER 18 anni Category B: UNDER 25 anni They will activate distinct categories of Horn and Trumpet in case the number of entries is sufficiently suitable.
4ª Section: Chamber Music Category A: UNDER 20 anni Category B: free age All formations from duo on, up to 11 musicists , with the exception of formations that provide for two pianos.
For sections of Singing and Brass will provide a collaborator pianist. The applicant must submit together with the application form the request and the supplementary share of 30 euro ; also will be available to send , if required , bound copies of the songs that are performing in the competition ( it will be excluded ) . The day before the test will have a selection of concert with the pianist of the competition . However it is allowed to provide their own personal pianist ; the name will be announced at registration.
The winners in each category : 1st Prize Diploma The runners up in each category : Diploma 2nd Prize Third prizes in each category : Diploma 3rd Prize The Meritorious Certificate of Merit The competitors who will get the highest score among the First Prizes in each category will receive a cup and a cash scholarship and will compete for the award of the prize "City of Pesaro " to be designated during the Concert for Winners . The winner will receive a ' Opera Artistic , a Scholarship Award and Concerts .
Each competitor and chamber ensembles not winners will receive a Diploma of participation
